Functional Fitness

With our program you'll be using movements that are both familiar & similar to those you use almost every single day, making these not only safe, but also highly effective.
 
You’ll be doing things like deadlifts, running and push-ups. You’ll be learning Olympic Weightlifting to become more powerful.
 
You’ll jump, squat, run, bike, row, push and pull! You’ll do some jump rope and pull a sled!
When you combine functional movements with high levels of intensity; which you’ll learn how to do, you will get & see results!
 
We keep programs varied so that every time you come in, you’re doing something very different from your last session.
 
We know you don’t have time to commit several hours of your week to exercise. Our emphasis is on intensity. You’ll reach your goals by showing up & working hard... three or four times per week... that’s it!

Strength Training

Strength training benefits are tremendous. The long and short term effects are worth their weight in gold. You'll reap rewards like more enjoyable workouts, increased confidence, increased tendon/ligament strength, and increased bone density.

Personal Coaching

Our Personal Coaching Program is designed for those who want more one-on-one coaching, for those who want a program that is specifically tailored for them and their level of fitness. During your initial consult you’ll sit down with a coach and discuss your goals so that we can customize a plan just for you to help you reach your goals without wasting your time.
 
When you have a program that is made only for you and designed to reach your specific goals, you'll get to where you want to go so much faster. And with our top-tier coaches, you’re sure to not only get an effective workout, but a safe one, too.

Nutrition Coaching

My Journey with Alex & Mixed Mode began earlier this year. I hadn’t been a member of a gym since I was 16. I really had no idea what I was doing or what my aim was. I just knew that I wanted to be mentally and physically stronger and for the first time in a long time take some time out for me... anything else was a bonus.


Started the year at 69.1kgs and am currently around 62kgs but the real difference has been shape, energy levels and mental clarity.

When I first started training at the gym all I was doing was cardio and was simply focused on weight loss. He has taught me that going to the gym is not only about weight loss, but feeling fit, strong and healthy.
 

Alex has taught me all sorts of new ways to train and I now have the tools I need to go into the gym with confidence and smash out a great session. On my first day at the gym, 10 mins on the cross trainer was tiring, now I can do 155kg leg presses, which is a huge achievement for me.
